The Teatro Lope de Vega in Madrid hosts Festival Únicas, a series of concerts from some of the best-known female voices in the music industry.

The event is designed to reflect the huge importance of strong female voices across all musical genres, from pop to opera and jazz. The 2007 line-up included Andrea Corr, Suzanne Vega, Maria Friedman, Mísia and Ani Choying Drolma. Keep an eye on the festival website for the latest programme.
